Social media app Yik Yak allows users to post without signing up and establishing a username, but with recent arrests of people posting alleged threats through the app, some began to wonder exactly how anonymous they were in using it.
FOX Carolina’s Sarah Danik spoke with Varner and Segura’s Grant Varner who explains that a user’s anonymity only exists as long as investigators or law enforcement officials don’t pierce it.
