PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) –
Tommy Ellenburg is getting what he says he was owed.
Ellenburg, the former Pickens police chief, is set to receive the other half of the $13,000 settlement he made with the city when he resigned amid controversy in May.
The city of Pickens says they will gladly cut him a check for the rest of severance pay and be done with this painstaking ordeal.
Pickens City Administrator Katherine Brackett says they have not began their search to find a new chief.
